Dawson takes great inspiration from her international experiences, working with European ceramic artists, natural textures, and the beauty of varied landscapes. Now life has brought her to Fairhope, AL where the Gulf of Mexico and surrounding coastal areas are providing new inspirations.

Dawson believes that ceramic art should look hand made. We have become a mass producing society, to some that is acceptable, cheaper even, but the artists 'hand print' is a valuable feature.
