Watercolor lessons from her father instilled a love for creating at an early age and motivated her to study art. She believes stepping into nature has a way of silencing the mind. She is moved by the light, movement, and beauty that surround us daily. Her recent paintings are an attempt to create the feeling of a quiet space. Through a mix of fresh, gestural marks and slow layers of paint she is trying to express a moment of appreciation and wonder.
